an inhertied problem with america’s design

I seem to have this insane ability to just group things in existence on a large scale. I don’t know why I do this, but when I see patterns of life and behaviors, I categorize them in my mind. perhaps this is just human nature, we all do this to some extent.

anyway, as I’m watching bullshit on TV and paying attention to the whole gun control debate, there is an obvious flaw in the entire design of “America is a melting pot”. American’s are scared shitless of each-other. They move around from state to state to avoid confrontation and being”too close” to other Americans. Our patriotism is shattered by this effect. Think about this.. other countries.. say England or Switzerland.. they have a collective mindset and something to be proud of; for they are all one of the same.. all British, or all Swiss, or all Australian.. (with of course the obvious tourism and part-time citizenship from others). On the flipside in America, we are this giant melting pot of all other countries. Some of us are Swiss others are German. Some are Cuban and others are Taiwanese. Yet hardly any of us are just simply “Americans”.  Initially, this was an excellent idea.. the groups of people all came here to flee terrorism and dictatorships, monarchies, third world regimes.. Now, people come here still looking for “the American dream” but there’s fighting from within because of the melting pot. No one who immigrates now is leaving behind their own country’s baggage to start a new free life. The drama and mindset of fear is taking over the ultimate goal, which was freedom for all.

have you ever heard that joke about the stomach being a bar?

see what im saying? we keep adding more ingrediants, but still have this mindset that everyone has boundaries and now no-one is getting along when someone shows up and starts some crazy shit.

we will not be able to fix this fighting from within unless each has their own rights and individuality, which we all came here to have in the beginning. This was our American right; to have a home and protect your family from those who wish to take away what you have earned. Our families left our originating countries for a reason and ended up in America to pursue our rights and freedoms. If you call yourself and American, this is what you should stand up for. When we are stepping on eachothers toes within the land of which we all came to be free in, then we have to take a look at what is stripping us of our rights.

Remember “united we stand, divided we fall”?

we as Americans are being divided categorically by location, race, gender, purchase habits, eating habits, consumer purchases, and even by what color our hair is. We were once a proud country, all living here with the mindset that everyone here is free from controlling powers. Now we are all afraid of our neighbors, and our teachers, and even our own relatives. how will this work if we are all individually afraid of one another?

When did we become so afraid of dealing with our problems and fearful of the outcome if we try?
What happened to America’s personal responsibility? We start wars in other places but we cant deal with our own?

wake up people.
