i make my living from the internet, i enjoy many hours a day, sitting “online”, and most of all, I have been reunited with my closest friends, with the a simple piece of wire, that connects me to any place in the world. but, alas, i am a broken man because of the internet. It’s very sad to see everything as a daily event. we can get an instantaneous update of any given happening in the world, yet we all seem to revolve around cats, or, to say it gently.. “tits or gtfo”.

it disappoints me to see people in this manner. It shames me to be human and see the utter ignorance of man. or rather, boys. our children are stabbing each other, our daughters are exposing themselves, kids are threatening the president for “views” on youtube. Yahoo has launched a new video chat. Its similar to the old days of AOL chat rooms, but now with video. Its a nightly escapade to find the girl getting naked, before she gets banned.

Why? our respect for human rights has been eroded and degraded to the point in which no one cares about anyone anymore, and their own personal self esteem and confidence has been lowered that they resort to going online to find “friends”. what happened to kids playing baseball outside? what happened to fishing in the creek with your older brother?? what happened to girl’s who thought they we’re pretty? Have we lost touch with ourselves so much that we don’t even know who we are anymore?

i have said many times, and ill say it again. 4chan is the asshole of the internet. all of those disgusting, questionable, racists, eye-gouging images and comments come from 4chan, rather.. /b/

I have nothing against b, i go there for laughs every once in a while. but quite honestly, i have been so desensitized that seeing a 19yr old girls head split open and her body crushed between a tollbooth in her dad’s Porsche… doesn’t make me flinch. or perhaps seeing women defaecate in eachother’s mouths.. its beyond ridiculous, and definitely NOT arousing. but, I don’t break a smile, i don’t laugh, i don’t care..

its just so easy now to “go live” and not worry about consequence. not worry about morals, not worry about anything other than how many views you can get. i have seen a steady degradation in today’s youth directly related to the advent of new computer/web technology. when i was in middle school, we talked to eachother. when i was in highschool, we had AIM, when i was in college, i started text messaging. now, with this giant orgasmo jungle fuck of technology, one can do all of this, from anywhere in the world. we aren’t disconnected form anything, we cant be ourselves. there is a 99% chance, there is someone near you that is taking a picture or video and is going to post it online. we had privacy before. we had rights before. we had ourselves before. now, its a cluster-fuck of information, and i believe humanity has turned feral!

when i was younger, i always wanted kids. as i grew older, i still wanted kids, but i wanted them to be in a better place than wehre i grew up.. not that it was bad. now, then i moved on to: “i need to find somewhere safe for my kids”. now, im not so sure, i’d even have the parenting ability to save my children form this mess of a world. i can totally see where my best friend is coming from when he flat out DOES NOT want kids.. the world is too disgusting. its frightening.

I’m sitting here on Y! live, watching some girl be disciplined by her father. “anonymous” has taken over the chat, and are just posting bullshit. nigger, asshole, “lets see them tits” with a 14yr old on the background. but the best part.. dad is wearing a “team satan” shirt. wtf is that? i see you kids on the video below. get out form behind the guy faux mask, get out form behind the bandannas. show yourself, you fucking perverts and assholes.

I blame myspace, i blame facebook , i blame yahoo! and google, AOL, youtube. you large corporations have created a new world. based upon userviews, comments, and degradation of man. your motivation was advertising. you take people’s money, to show their ad, no matter what brought the potential customer there to see it in the first place. there is no longer a voice of human generosity. there is no more human respect. there is no more compassion. no more turning away.

yes, its easy to say “well just don’t look at that stuff”. but you cant. its everywhere. every site i go to has an RSS feed, a video feed, a newsletter, a comments box. everything is based upon what someone else has to say. our opinions have gone wild. i remember a southpark episode where cartman lost his ability to filter his thoughts and mind. i believe that is what has happened to all of us. hell, I’m sitting here typing away,expressing my opinion, as if i thought someone would care. but you know what. i know there is someone out there reading this. i know. i can see you in my stats. i can see you coming from different countries. i know who sent you to me.. anonymous. i know where you left my site. i know how long you stayed here. but the scary thing is, so does every other site owner out there. we monitor these things. you are called traffic. you come to our site, hopefully to click an ad and make us money.

we used to care about each other. we used to keep thoughts to ourselves. we used to think twice. now its a free-for-all.. tits or GTFO. these are very sad times.

i’m sad to say this, but i hate the internet. it will be the death of man.
